Every business needs a logo.
Something that not only looks professional, but that reflects your brand identity, and is genuinely memorable.
Your logo serves as an icon that encapsulates your entire brand identity.
In a best case scenario, you’re able to pay a great designer to create the perfect logo for your business.
But what if you really don’t have much of a budget at all?
If you’re not good at visual design yourself, this can put you in a tough spot.
You shouldn’t get so hung up on the perfect logo that it stops you from getting started with your business.
It’s better to get something and just start — you can always have a nicer one designed later on.
There are actually quite a few “logo generators” out there on the web.
These sites help you easily create a sleek-looking logo using a range of fonts, geometric images, and templates.
If you’re not a designer, using a logo generator can be much quicker and easier than trying to put something together in Photoshop or Canva instead.
In most cases, you can create your logo for free, but you’ll probably need to pay for a high resolution image download.
Pricing can vary, but some of these logo generators are quite affordable indeed.
Here are three cheap but effective sites you can try, from our friends at A Better Lemonade Stand.
Cost: Free Low-Res / $5 Hi-Res
The Hipster Logo Generator will cater to certain brands but it’s definitely not for everyone.
Catering to the hipster movement this logo generator actually is capable of producing some great logos.
Cost: Free to Make / $10 High-Res
The Squarespace logo generator is definitely a capable logo maker if you spend some time to play around with it.
The price is reasonable at $10 if you do like the logo you create.
Logaster may work for someone but it didn’t work for me.
The designs all felt very boring and generic and couldn’t find anything that I felt would work for my brand.
They say that the low resolution version is free to download and the high resolution version is $10, however, when they say low resolution they lean a logo the size a penny.
It’s practically unusable so expect to have to pay $10 is you like your logo.
