actually I am "keith eric yates" , my dad decided to use my middle name so that I was not
a junior, so please call me 'eric'. you can see that my initials are KEY btw.

back when I joined JC in the summer of 2006? some character had already nabbed 'eric' ;D
so I just used my intials! funny thing is that it has sort of stuck well in peoples minds, and I
use KEY in forum IDs and even a few domains now. it has become part of my 'brand' to some
degree.

trying to keep it short(ish): (life takes you where it wants, and the tale can get involved...)

I had previously spent 18+ years as a recording engineer. I have worked for major, minor,
and independent record labels as well as music for Sony Playstation games. the hours, and the
travel were no longer working for me, my ears were getting tired, and the my occasional
migraines were becoming a 5-8 times a month issue ...

I have/had been on the net since 1982 (compuserve) and had made quite a few web-sites for
friends (as well as my dogs) over the years, and I was already creating websites and MySpace
pages for bands that I was working with as part of a package.

seemed the thing to do ... phase out the recording and move into the internet full time!
